Vincent Marshall fondly known as “Vin”

Vincent Marshall fondly known as “Vin” of St Vincent and Lucas Street, St. George’s, passed away on Friday 22^nd March, 2024

We honour the memory and celebrate the life of Vincent Marshall fondly known as Vin to those who knew him best, who left us on March 22, 2024.  He was born in St Vincent and grew up on Lucas Street, St. George’s, Grenada. He attended the Grenada Boys Secondary School (G.B.S.S.). Vin’s journey led him to Ontario, Canada where he pursued higher education at Ryerson University. Vin was predeceased by his mother, Ena Marshall (Duncan), father George Marshall, and brother Denis Marshall.

 His legacy is carried on by His beloved wife: Gloria Ferguson Marshall, who was the love of his life, Children: Naikka (Sandra); Aiyana (Rohan); and Koryn Marshall, Grandchildren: Khalid Sawyers, Kyann Minto, Madeline Hebbes, Ashlee Menegol-Marshall, Shenae Menegol-Marshall and Selah Godfrey
Brother: Carl Marshall (Pat) and his family, In-Laws: Greta Redhead, Pat (Rose) Ferguson, Patsy Mayers, Fay (Reddy) Payne, Germaine (Ed) Wilson, Jessie Ferguson-Edwards, Ian (Charmian) Ferguson and their children, Vin’s numerous nieces and nephews, across Canada and USA.
Close family and friends: His loving cousin Hayden Duncan, Dr. Elliot McGuire and family,
Geoffrey Milne and family, Timmy and Rita Mason and family, Jimmy Ogilvie and family, Adia
Mayers-Hemmings. Julian Duncan, Greta King, Duncan Family of St Vincent and Trinidad, Byam Family of the USA, Mark family of Canada and other relatives and friends in Canada, Grenada, USA, England, St. Vincent and St. Lucia.

Vin’s love for life, soccer (the beautiful game), especially Arsenal, and the joy he brought to
every gathering will be deeply missed but forever remembered. His legacy of kindness, humour and love leaves an indelible mark on us all.

Visitation and Funeral Service

 
Visitation on Thursday, April 11, 2024  from 4:00 – 8:00pm at Ogden Funeral Home - 4164 Sheppard Avenue East, Scarborough, ON M1S 1T3

Funeral Service on Friday, April 12, 2024 at 10:30am at St. Francis de Sales Church – 1001 Ravenscroft Road, Ajax, ON L1T 4X1
Interment (after the funeral service) at Christ the King Cemetery – 7770 Steeles Avenue East, Markham, ON L6B 1A8
