Joel Munro also known as Mr. Venta

Joel Munro also known as "Daddy Venta" and "Mr. Venta" – a retired fisherman of The Villa Road, Soubise, St. Andrew, passed away on Tuesday 15th September, 2026 at the age of 92. 

He was the father: of Paul Munro in England, Lillian Prince in Barbados, Velda Mc Donald, Mary Prince, Michael Munro; Pastor Leo Prince and Manetha Prince- Lewis in Grenada.

Grand father of many including: Emiel Munro in England, Lisa Belfon, Scott Douglas, Larry and Carina Mc Donald in Trinidad, Edwin, Damian, Kimshon and Leo Prince, and Shadee Bonaparte, Monique Nicholas, Kathy-Ann & Eebony Prince. Great grand father of many.

Uncle of many including: Evadney, Jean, Janette, Oliver, Rawl, Lariyah, Gloria, Cecilia. Grand uncle of many, In-laws including: Roland Ranger, Alison Prince, and Sabrina Munro.

Close relatives, friends and neighbours of Soubise, Grenville, Hope and surrounding areas including: the Isaac and Munro families, the Lambert families, Adrine and Nikayla Clarke and Catherine Alridge and family.

Funeral Service on Thursday 15th October 2026 at 1 o’clock at the Soubise Seventh–Day Adventist Church, St. Andrew, Interment at the Grand Bras Cemetery.
