Jim Gittens also known as “Dada” or “Koro” of  Snell Hall resided in Mt. Rich, St. Patrick, passed away on Thursday 30th July, 2026 at the age of 83

He was the Father of: Claire, Boyo, Kendra, Troy and Kay in the USA, Emril and Richie in Canada, Hamile in Barbados, Kizzy, Nord and Kendrine in Grenada. Grandfather of 29 including: Jessica, CJ, Lawrence, Leo, Carissa, Zoriah, Josiah, Zendaya, Troy Jr, Kaiden, Zuri, Zipporah, Anthony, Shadeah, Kiara and Devon, Great grandfather of: 15

Brother of: Keith in the USA, Velma in Venezuela, Terry, Allister, Bernice and Erma, in Grenada, Uncle of many including: Richard, Daneille, Helen, Catherine, Lisa, Marva, Rupert, Matthew, Hermilyn, Kada and Kenneth, Father in law of: Harold Bowen, Cousin of: Emrol Gittens of Mt. Rich

Many other relatives and close friends in Grenada and abroad including: The Gittens, Fleming, Alexander, Shin and Hanson families of Mt. Funeral Service on Thursday 10th September, 2026 at 2 :00 pm at the Snell Hall Seventh Day Adventist Church, Interment at the Marli Cemetery
